Hypnotherapy - Positive Changes to Improve Your Life
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, kind method of resolving problems.
It uses your own abilities and skills and is always under your control. You never need to do anything you don't want to do; you are always in control.
Hypnotherapy is particularly good if you want to:
- Alleviate stress, worry and anxiety
- Extinguish unwanted habits such as smoking or nail-biting
- Improve self-esteem and confidence
- Manage weight

Treatments
Stop Smoking
Hypnotherapy is ideal for stopping smoking. Most people start smoking without thinking about it particularly. Then they find, when they want to stop, that they're fighting a battle against it with inadequate equipment, using willpower (and maybe nicotine patches) alone.
Hypnotherapy will help you to stop without having to engage in a massive willpower battle and without the fear of failure making things more difficult because hypnotherapy allows you to stop smoking much more easily and comfortably than engaging in a long war between your willpower and the pain of deprivation versus the pleasure and relaxation of smoking. Hypnotherapy will help you to relax without smoking. Try it and see!
Nail Biting
Unwanted habits, such as nail-biting, are very responsive to hypnotherapy. Such habits have often been chosen, sometimes at a young age, for a variety of reasons. Then, later, a person wants to stop and finds it is not as easy as they had thought because it has become a habit and is often done almost unconsciously.
Here hypnotherapy can help by bringing the habit into consciousness and helping to change a person's internal belief system and attitudes so that they no longer need to engage in the habit.
Phobias
Phobias can curtail your life to quite a high degree and, without treatment, tend to get worse.
They have often developed in response to a situation where there was a high level of anxiety and at the time when they began were a way to keep the person safe and away from the frightening situation. But they begin to have a life of their own and can become quite limiting for people later.
Hypnotherapy is particularly well-suited to the safe and pleasant removal of phobias as it can change the internal belief system and allow a person to change their perspective slightly in a more favourable direction.
Cure Stress, Worry, Anxiety
These are the most common forms of mental anguish from which people in today's society suffer. They are at the root of all sorts of somatic pains, such as headaches or stomach aches, and often lead to sleeplessness, to unwanted habits and phobias, and sometimes even to depression. Hypnotherapy can help to alleviate these at an early stage and allow you to learn to relax and enjoy a calmer, happier, healthier life.
Self-esteem & Confidence
Hypnotherapy is ideal for improving these two elements in your internal armoury for success and happiness. The kind and gentle encouragement of hypnotherapy helps you to trust yourself and believe in yourself. You may be amazed at how much happier, more content – and more popular – you feel when self-esteem and confidence are firmly in place.
Weight Management
This is one area which may take more than three or four sessions to change. But, wouldn't it be worth it never to have to worry about this again – not to feel guilty when you eat something you like and not to feel you have to deprive yourself all the time? Hypnotherapy can help you to change your internal attitude to food and your body – whether it's yo-yo dieting, over-eating or under-eating – and put eating back where it should be – not only as a necessity for life, but also as one of life's greatest and simplest pleasures.

About Hypnotherapy
"Hypnotherapy is a brief strategic therapy - one that is aimed specifically at finding a resolution to your problem as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. It is not a long drawn-out method of solving a problem." (The Hypnotherapy Association)
A skilled hypnotherapist can deal with many problems in just three or four sessions.
Hypnotherapy is particularly good if you want to alleviate stress, worry and anxiety, extinguish unwanted habits such as smoking or nail-biting, improve self-esteem and confidence, or manage weight.

Of course it would not be true to say that hypnotherapy is absolute magic. The person who wants to change some aspect of their behaviour or feelings has to do something positive and definite for it to work. But the main thing about hypnotherapy treatment is that it is so pleasant, so painless and so life-enhancing. It will make you feel happy.
